Our mission is to grow a strong local racing community. The Racecraft License helps every driver start on equal footing and keeps racing fun, competitive, and welcoming.

Learn to Race the Right Way

The Full Throttle Racecraft License is our driver development program and the starting point for all new racers at Full Throttle Raceway & Pro Shop. Before jumping into full-speed competition, every driver completes this class to learn race lines, throttle control, track etiquette, and how to race safely around other drivers.

This isn’t a beginner class — it’s a racing foundation. The goal is simple: cleaner races, closer battles, and more fun for everyone on the track.

What You’ll Learn

Drivers will be coached on the skills that make real racers:

Proper driving line and corner entry
Smooth throttle control (50% throttle class)
Passing without contact
Being passed safely
Corner marshal expectations
Race start procedures
How qualifying and heat racing works
Track awareness and race etiquette

By the end of the session, you won’t just know how to drive — you’ll know how to race.

Why We Require It

Mini-Z racing is most enjoyable when races are close, clean, and competitive. Without training, crashes, blocking, and frustration can take away from the experience for everyone. The Racecraft Class ensures:

Better race nights
Fewer crashes
Less frustration for new drivers
A welcoming environment for families and younger racers
Competitive racing for experienced drivers

It helps beginners feel confident and helps experienced racers enjoy tighter, cleaner racing.

The 50% Throttle Class

The Racecraft Class is run as a controlled 50% throttle race class.
By limiting speed, drivers can focus on technique instead of reaction time. You’ll learn how to hold a racing line, manage traffic, and finish races consistently — the same way real race schools teach drivers.

Speed comes later. Control comes first.

Earning Your License

After completing the session and demonstrating safe, consistent driving, you’ll earn your Full Throttle Racing License and unlock access to all standard race classes and club race nights.

Once licensed, you’re free to race in our regular classes and weekly events.
